Finishing a respectable but still dismal fourth place in the Women\’s 3000m Speed Skating yesterday, Claudia Pechstein of Germany cost President Amber Riddle 3 points. Could this be the crucial three points that keeps her from being crowned the ultimate winner of the First Biennial Fantasy Olympics Game? That remains to be seen. But probably.
In the meantime, do they kind of look alike? No? Just me?

Pretty heartbroken here. I will say that I drafted Ms. Pechstein not because of her mild resemblance to me, and not because she's a bad-ass, ruthless German speed-skating machine, but because her name is Claudia, and Claudia was the coolest babysitter from the Babysitter's Club. Claudia was always the nonchalantly awesome one. She wasn't boring like bossy tomboy Kristen, she wasn't a boy-crazy skank like Stacey (see: http://www.amazon.com/Boy-Crazy-Stacey-Baby-Sitters-Club-No/dp/0590251635), and she didn't play with dolls like Mary Anne. I'm not actually sure if Mary Anne played with dolls, but that's what I picture about lame-o Mary Anne. Claudia was totally the coolest and I'm sure she was a Jazzy Jewelry master like I always wanted to be.
