Coming to you live from the penultimate day of the Olympics, and the penultimate day of Gold Zone. I’m going to miss these goofy frat boys.

One issue I have had with this Olympics is there seems to be a lot of old people succeeding. And by old I mean generally my age. In fact, a 41 mom of two specifically won a bobsled gold medal. Some of us are just trying to spectate while eating a sleeve of girl scout cookies without all this pressure to accomplish great feats post-40, okay? It’s pretty disheartening even if Nick Baumgartener does have major Will Ferrell in Wedding Crashers vibes.

I will not be crass and comment on the age of any Fantasy Olympians. But young and old, we all put too much hope in Lindsey Vonn’s ACL.
