I don’t want to alarm you but there’s a woman competing in figure skating right now while, according to the commentators, having the audacity to be over forty years old. Can you imagine? A 42 year old woman just out and about in the world doing a job.

Speaking of elderly Olympians, the second great scandal of the Olympics has broken and tbh it’s even better than the ski jumping one in my opinion. Canada has been accused of doing, and depicted on video absolutely doing, a double touch on a curling stone. DRAMA.

The Fantasy Olympics is, as usual, free from scandal. There has been an unusual amount of activity at the Bronze level, but Supreme Tony Flags of Tony Flagistan remains on the top of the table, riding high on the success of Europeans with difficult to spell names.

Next Gen Fantasy Olympian President Owen of TheOne has passed two of three grandparents in the rankings. Elsewhere, OG Fantasy Olympians Chef d’Equipe KerryO of Beau Rouge Republic, Czarina Jen of The Warrior State of Greenland, and Kristi IceQueen of Yamaguchland are well positioned in the middle of the table.
